I'm a fan of the new building. Fast drive thu, not as much parking as the old setup however. It is tough to find a spot during the lunch hour. Also seems like less indoor seating. Outdoor seating is a nice touch.

New building sucks. Designed for drive through customers. Don't get out of your car and you'll probably like this place! The old building had a nicer feel and I would get serviced ALOT faster then.

In recent times, McDonald's has been undergoing something of a renaissance into trying to become some odd upscale Starbucks-a-like, and in doing so, as a parent, I've been disappointed to see a number of nice playlands disappear. McDonald's seems to have forgotten that they have the playland market cornered... so anyways, I've decided to review some and share some hints for other parents. This is a great McDonald's for smaller children. A well-maintained play area with a separate area for eating, there is frequently an older staff member who checks in and maintains the area, and enforces the no-eating-in-the-play-area rule (a real plus). It has two toddler slides of different sizes, and the main tubes have a climb up with a slide down, and is basically a large tube ring with a jumping area that kids seem to find very enticing. The restaurant itself is very well maintained, periodically remodeled and updated to keep it in good condition. It is not too unusual to visit and find that some work has recently been done, such as the last visit where some new external woodwork had been replaced around one of the entrances. They had remodeled it into a more "upscale" location years ago, prior to the companywide initiative that appears to be underway, but had struck a very comfortable balance of not-cheap and not-overly-pretentious. Staff is friendly and well-trained, food is rarely bad. It's very popular with older folks, and the drive-through is very efficient. McDonald's would do well to duplicate this formula into other restaurants, but I don't think that will happen as I'm pretty sure it's privately owned. It gets 5/5 "for a McDonald's."

Ok. It's McDonalds. Not even going to comment about the food because you know... BUT THIS MCDONALDS IS LIKE THE BEST MCDONALDS EVER!!! I live really close and sometimes hit up the drive through on my way to or from work (also, the boyfriend gets it for me sometimes when I'm hungover. Awesome). They seriously amaze me every time! There will be like a bazillion cars in both drive through lanes, but then it goes super fast and I pay for my stuff and then I pull up to the second window to get my food and they are basically throwing it at me because of course they have it ready and OF COURSE IT'S RIGHT! ITS THE BEST MCDONALDS EVER!!! Also, their workers are pretty nice too. I always leave this Mickey D's with a smile from the nice people that work the drive through line. This McDonalds is ON POINT! The rest of the McDonalds in the world need to take some pro tips from the Hales Corners McD.

I have always liked this McDonalds, but it's one I've gone to for 30 years. As a kid I loved the sweet playground with all the cool components such as Fry Kid bobbles, Mayor McCheese jail tower and the spinning burger thing. Gen-x's and older know what I mean. When I was in my teens it was a great late-night drive thru or a convenient dumping ground for kids I was babysitting. The play land was indoors at this point with tunnels and ball pits. Now as s 30-something adult, I kind of enjoy the more modern look and industrial feel. While it's sad to see them do away with the play area completely, it's a clean and bright place to bring the family out for lunch or dinner once in a while. The revamped drive through is so nice with the dual lanes, that even when it looks like there is no end to the line, cars move quite quickly and the wait isn't as long as you'd think. Many find the interior to be stark and uninviting but there are several nods to the history of Hales Corners in there if you look closely. The inside is very clean and the employees are friendly. I have never had an issue here with a wrong order - how often can you say that? Even the bathrooms(at least the women's) are kept tidy. Admittedly I sometimes stop here 2-3 times a month. I enjoy the good experiences and the new healthier choices. Say what you will about McDonalds, this location is definitely doing things right.

My friends and I were having a study group and I went out to pick up food for them on a late Saturday night. The drive thru is open 24/7 and it was pretty busy when I went. The place has two drive thru order line and then it merges into one for you to pay and pick up. I can't imagine how busy it can get if the place offers two ordering drive thru. Overall, I think the entire time spent was about ten minutes with four cars ahead of me.

I'll make this short and to the point. It's a Sunday morning around 9:15. The drive thru and inside seating are both packed, free coffee week again. I got through the drive thru in around 10 minutes and the order was perfect. And no cars waiting for their orders. How do you spell efficiency- HC McDonald's.

I don't know of a time when I have stopped in at this McDonald's and not left disappointed or just thoroughly ticked off. This is a very busy location so you would think they would have their act together but I guess not. Every order has been returned for one reason or another and that is pretty sad considering the menu. I am not a big McDonald's fan but I go there for my son, he likes it of course, he's a kid. Restaurant is messy, staff are unorganized and there is just always chaos. Head down the road about a minute and a half and try the next one, they have to be better than this one.

OH, hell no. I wish I could give it a half star. The customer service here is horrible. I stopped in with the family last Saturday for lunch. The bathrooms were dirty and the overall place seemed kind of dirty as well. I proceeded to wait in a long line to order 2 kids meals, a two cheese burger value meal, a fish and single cheeseburger. They asked me to have a seat and they said they would let me know when the food was ready. I waited maybe 5-10 minutes and she looked over at me and said it was done. I walked up and I said you forgot 2 of the sandwiches. Keep in mind I repeated my order to her 3 times and had her repeat it to me. She looked at the receipt and said "shoot I forgot to ring you up for those two items", then asked me to go wait at the end of the line again so I can reorder, but she said be patient!! She don't know me very well, I'm not a patient guy! I sat down and never heard a sorry or anything. Oh yeah, and the fries were cold that the kids got!!! NEVER AGAIN will I set foot in this place.
